Welcome to MassageGods. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
MassageGods operates a directory that connects clients ("Seekers") with verified, independent male massage therapists and bodywork practitioners ("Therapists"). We do not employ Therapists, do not provide massage services ourselves, and do not facilitate bookings or payments between Seekers and Therapists. We are a directory and verification platform only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Therapists must additionally be legally authorized to provide massage or bodywork services in their jurisdiction and must provide valid government identification and any applicable professional credentials during onboarding.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- One account per person. Impersonation, multi-account fraud, and account sharing are prohibited.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Therapist listings
Therapists are solely responsible for the content of their listings, including photos, descriptions, services offered, pricing, availability, and contact methods. By submitting content you represent that you own it or have all necessary rights to publish it, and you grant MassageGods a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the directory.
All listings are subject to manual review and ongoing moderation. We may reject, edit, or remove any content at our discretion, including for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy or Content Policy.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Some Therapist features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Payments are made by bank transfer using your unique reference code and are confirmed manually by MassageGods. Identity verification is handled by Veriff. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly agree in writing.
6. Seeker conduct
The Service is free for Seekers. Seekers may contact Therapists directly through the masked WhatsApp link provided on each profile. MassageGods is not a party to any booking, payment, or session between a Seeker and a Therapist and has no control over their conduct.
7. Independent relationship
Therapists are independent professionals, not employees, agents, or partners of MassageGods. Any contract, booking, or transaction between a Seeker and a Therapist is strictly between them. We make no warranty about the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any Therapist or service.
8. Prohibited conduct
Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy and Content Policy. In particular, the Service is for legitimate therapeutic massage and bodywork only. Adult or sexual services, solicitation, and any unlawful activity are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, reporting to authorities.
9. Intellectual property
The MassageGods name, logo, software, design, and all related materials are owned by MassageGods and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT LISTED THERAPISTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASSAGEGODS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) A$100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MassageGods harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violations of these Terms. You may close your account at any time via your account settings.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Victoria, Australia, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site and may require you to re-accept the Terms before continuing to use the Service.
